Plan of salvation

For those who have not yet found peace with God and do not know where their soul will go after death, God has prepared a plan of salvation:

  1. First of all, recognize your condition as a hopeless sinner.

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one”

    Romans 3:10

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

    Romans 3:23
  2. Realize that the punishment for sin is eternal death and hell.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”

    Hebrews 9:27

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”

    Revelation 20:15
  3. Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.

    “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures”

    1 Corinthians 15:3–4

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”

    Romans 5:8
  4. In prayer, ask Jesus to come into your heart and become your personal Savior.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”

    Romans 10:13

Turn to God in prayer like this:

God, I am a sinner and need to be forgiven. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I ask that Christ come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.
